Special brake pads developed
from WRC racing!
These pads are great for cars with
poor braking abilities!
ENDLESS TYPE CC-Rg
The CC-Rg was released with the concept of giving a different feel from the
CC-R racing pads with the use of ceramic carbon metal. The CC-R will still
be available on the market. The new CC-Rg is targeted for high powered tuned
vehicles with a stock brake system whereas the CC-R brake pads were targeted
for high powered tuned vehicles with reduced weight and big brake kits.

The Endless CC-R has a reputation of easy controllability and is resistant to brake fade especially in circuit conditions. The CC-Rg will have an improved temperature resistance quality and works consistently at any range of speed.
Extremely high performance quality pads that cost 1/10 of big brake kits!
The Endless CC-Rg brake pads are a revolutionized version of CC-R that can be used in broad range of situations from street to race tracks.
Many people have doubts in the CC-Rg's exceeding quality and performance of the CC-R, so let's introduce this product along with the feedback of a few drivers.
First of all, both the CC-R and CC-Rg are made of ceramic carbon metal. However, the compounding ratio of this material was changed in order to give a different quality for each pad. The production methods haven't been changed much for those 2 product lines. So what is the difference? The answer is very simple. The CC-Rg was developed for tuned vehicles that have an increased power output without any chassis weight reduction modifications done.
There are only a handful of enthusiasts who choose to install a bigger brake system when increasing the power without changing the body weight. Tuned vehicles like this would usually have stock calipers or slightly bigger calipers from different models.
The CC-Rg is the most suitable product for the majority of the modern tuning cars. This pad can be used in a wide variety of temperature range from street to the actual race track situations.
The CC-Rg's different qualities from CC-R are the following:
1. Extremely wide range of rotor temperature range of 50~800c(CC-R's temperature range is between 150~800c)
2. Same G force feedback with the same pedal touch when braking at 60km/h and 200km/h.
3. Friction efficiency is higher than that of CC-R (CC-Rg average: .40-.45µ, CC-R average: .35-.42μ)
These characteristics show CC-Rg' had come very close being an ideal brake pads.
How does this product really work though? The test drive took place at the Tsukuba Circuit TC2000, which is known as one of the harshest course for braking. A 725 horsepower BNR32 heavily tuned by Garage Saurus was used for the testing. A BNR32 is the vehicle known for its heavyweight therefore people with this car is the perfect choice for the CC-RG’s target market. The test drivers are Tarzan Yamada, and a fellow GT-R owner Mr. Yanagihara who had been using the CC-R pads until this testing.
Tarzan Yamada's Impression
Great pads for normal weight cars! I am used to the CC-Rs since it's often used at for the Tsukuba time attack. The main difference I felt between the CC-R and CC-Rg is the effectiveness of the pads.
The CC-R creates more G force as you step on the brake pedal, whereas the CC-Rg reduces the speed strong, but gradually. It boils down to one's personal preference at this point.
It's hard to explain, but the CC-Rg's feels identical to the CC-R at the initial pedal touch, but as you keep on the brakes for the CC-Rg, it feels like the stopping power builds up. It was more effective than I expected. I think the CC-Rg is more suitable for drivers who are used to braking with the assistance of the brake master cylinder / booster.
The test vehicle was equipped with an ENDLESS big brake kit, but stock rotor and calipers should be sufficient for these pads. The controllability and its effectiveness can be felt even more if this product was installed on a 400 horsepower+ GT-R with normal body weight.
Tarzan Yamada was concerned about the controllability when entering the turn with a small amount of braking. His impression was " the CC-R was slightly easier to control" since the test vehicle had Endless Racing 6&4 large capacity brake kit, however, he also said his evaluation would change if the vehicle had stock brake calipers and rotors.

The real impression from a GT-R owner
Personally, the CC-Rg was easier to control than the CC-R pads. It created a gradual stopping force rather than instant locking of the brakes. The brakes never locked up and it was very easy to use.
I also felt that the CC-Rg had a less squeaky feeling than the CC-R. I heard that the cost will be about 2,000yen more expensive than CC-R, but I think it’s worth it considering my experience.
Top is the CC-R and below is the CC-Rg. There isn't much visible difference other than the corner being shaved off on the CC-R. These pads are safe because of the asbestos free construction.
A word from the manufacturer: The cheaper alternative! The racing brake fluid called the "RF-650" is recommended upon installing the CC-Rg. This extremely high performance quality fluid is also used for WRC and F1.
The main characteristic of CC-Rg is that you can feel the same G-force when braking from any speed. I believe people who are not used to braking at high speed range can gain some valuable skills from these pads.
With an extremely wide rotor temperature range of 50-800c, this pads were actually used at the WRC Tarmac. (It's also used at touring tournaments in Europe.) To sum it up, these pads are great for those who want the stopping power of a big brake kit at the fraction of the cost.
